In khule pannon per kuchh shabd likh daaloon

ya wo hari bottle puri gatak dalun.

Sharaab ho ya shabaab nasha to chadhna hi hai,

aaj ho ya kal tujhko to marna hi hai.

Zindagi bas aaj hai aaj hi tak rahegi,

khul ke ji le ise kal to tujhko marna hi hai.



Aasmaan ki unchaiyon ki chaahat ise bhi hai use bhi thi,

zameen ki hakikat ko janna hi zindagi hai.

Ke is daud me aage to wo bhi hai hum bhi the kabhi,

gir kar pichhe chhute huon ko sahara dena hi zindagi hai.

Aaj tere daaman me ghum hai kal khushiyaan hongi,

khul ke muskura le dost teri is muskuraahat me hi to zindagi hai.

हर चंद्रगुप्त को
मिलता कहाँ चाणक्य
कहाँ कोई धमनियों
को है बज्र बनाता
कौन द्रष्टा हैं यहाँ
ज्ञान के बाज़ार में
जो वर्तमान में विष्णुगुप्त बन आता
राष्ट्र है तभी तो, होगा राष्ट्रवाद
कौन ऐसा है गुरु , जो ये बात समझाता
विखंडीत नहीं देश मतभेद अनुचित
ये बात जो मनस में राजनेता के लाता
देश बाट जोहता कोई चाणक्य तो आये
उन्नत ललाट पर तिलक लगा जाए ..............

वह कौन ?

देखो वह साँवला जोशीला
पहने सादी पेंट और सफेद कमीज
आँखो पर जो पहने मोटा चश्मा
पैरो में कपडे के जूते
और कंधे पर डाले एक सादा झोला
वह कौन?
मस्त मनमोह्क चाल से चला जाता
बूझो तो उसका नाम

लोग कह्ते कि वह कालेज में बच्चों को इंगलिश है पढाता
पर बच्चे कह्ते कि वह हमें जीवन जीना सिखाता
बुधिजीवी कह्ते कि वह चार चार भाषायें जानता
पर कामगार कहते फिरते कि वह हमारी बोलियाँ बोलता रहता
वह कौन?
मस्त मनमोह्क चाल से चला जाता
बूझो तो उसका नाम

किसान कह्ते कि वह रुप बदल बदल गाँव गाँव इंसानी कहानी की तलाश में घूमता फिरता
पर गाँव के बच्चे कहते कि जैसे फाहयान घूमता फिरता
कहानीकार कह्ते है कि वह कहानियों को स्टेज पर जींवत करता
पर दर्शक कह्ते कि शहीद भगत, बाबा बंतू, भजनो, किरपा, सत्यदेव, चन्नो, शंकर, कमला, ओर लेखू को देख पीछे बैठा रोया करता
वह कौन?

उनके दोस्त बोले घर उनका सादा सा, कमरा उनका आधा सा, जँहा लगा किताबो का ढेर
पर पडोसी बोले घर के बाहर लगी लकडी की एक प्लेट जो बोले "नेता, भिखारी, ओर हाकिमो का यहाँ ना है कोई गेट
धर्मानुयाई कह्ते फिरते कि वह किसी धर्म को नहीं है मानता
पर कोई चुपके से कह्ता कि वह नफरत को नही मानता
आलोचक कह्ते इसमें भी हैं दोष
पर दूर कहीं से आई एक आवाज ये ना हैं कोई भगवान, ये तो हैं बस एक इंसान
वह कौन?

आपके आशीष से ,तालीम से और ज्ञान से
उपदेश से ,उसूल से , सार और व्याख्यान से
अप्रमाण जीवन को मिली परिधि नई,नव दिशा
श्वेत मानस पटल पर स्वरूप विद्या का धरा
डगमगाते कदम को नेक राह दी,आधार दिया
संकीर्ण ,संकुचित बुद्धि को अनंत सा विस्तार दिया
पहले सेमल से कपास पश्चात कपास को सूत कर
रूई को आकृति एक और बाती सा सुन्दर नाम दिया

कभी आचार से ,सदाचार से ,कभी नियम-दुलार से
उद्दंडता को दंड देकर हमे विकसित किया,आयाम दिया.
निर्लोभ रह देते रहे सब , न कुछ अभिलाषा रही
पात्र जीवन मे सफल हो शायद यही आशा रही
आपके ऋण से उऋण किसी हाल हो सकते नहीं
कुछ शब्द मे अनुसंशा कर जज़्बात कह सकते नहीं
गुरुवर मेरे सिर पर पुनः आशीषमय कर रख दीजिये

To My Teacher

A substitute for working moms,
She comforts, pampers, soothes and calms.
With all the love she has to share,
She's great to have when mom's not there.

She loves to rock a fussy child,
Corrects the one who gets too wild.
She hears her share of tearful pleas,
And comforts those with skinned up knees.

With little children she plays a peek,
For bigger ones it's hide-and-seek.
She is an expert at each game,
But somehow loses just the same

She helps them learn the alphabet,
And gives them hugs when they're upset.
She is a true and trusted friend,
Who helps them learn and play pretend.

Although she's paid, it's plain to see,
She serves them with a love that's free

A Teacher Is…
Someone who is wise...
Who cares about the students and wears no disguise.
But is honest and open and shares from the heart.
Not just lessons from books, but life where you are.
A teacher takes time to help and tutor.
With English or math or on a computer.
It's (Teacher' name) who's patient, even in stress.
Who never gives less than the very best!
Not that I was the perfect student,
But you were the perfect teacher for me!

My First Day Of School

First Day of School

I'm finally going to school this year,
and now the big day's almost here.
I'll learn to write and count and read--
Only two more days till school.

I got new pants and shirts and socks,
a brand-new red and blue lunch box;
I'll paint and sing and dance and play--
Only one more day fill school.

My hair is washed, my sneakers squeak,
I'm so excited, I can hardly speak!
New things to do, new friends to meet--
Hooray! It's the first day of school!

We place our feet where they have never been.
We walk upon the unwalked. But we are uneasy.
Who is down there but our old teachers?
Water that once could take no human weight-
We were students then- holds up our feet,
And goes on ahead of us for a mile.
Beneath us the teachers, and around us the stillness
